Welcome to another episode of Scoundrels Special Edition of Starships Sabers and Scoundrels. This week, SCubedPod focuses on episode six of season three of Rebels: "The Last Battle." When Rex leads Kanan, Ezra, Zeb, and Chopper to Agamar to salvage weapons, they find more than they bargained for. A tactical droid there prevented the droids under his command from deactivating at the conclusion of the Clone Wars. Now, he seeks to settle which side would have won once and for all as he compels Rex, Ezra, and Kanan to engage in a war game. This is a somewhat in-depth review that contains spoilers.

First, Dennis and Taxus discuss Rex's resolution with the ending of the Clone Wars. Audiences saw in season two how he shepherded fellow Clone Wars veterans. Those veterans wrestled with inner demons. What about Rex? Does this episode show a crack in his otherwise strong facade?

Next, has Ezra Bridger overcome his dark side temptations? In early episodes from this season, Ezra looked to the dark side to supplement his powers. He desired to save his friends. However, in recent episodes, he appears to have overcome that temptation. Will he be tempted again? Or, is this phase of path of the Force behind him?

In addition, what is to be made of Ezra's revelation concerning the conclusion of the Clone Wars? How is it that he seems to be the only one that ever asked why the Clone Wars ended and who won? Is he prophetic? Was his ability to bridge the divide between Rex and the tactical droid a developing talent? Dennis and Taxus discuss Ezra's ability to reach the middle ground that a galaxy full of senators, Jedi, and droids could not.

Finally, each of the guys share some of their favorite moments from the episode. Remember the scene where the battle droids confront the stormtroopers? How about Kanan's answer to the tactical droid's question about Ezra? Dennis and Taxus discuss these and more.

Thanks for listening to this Scoundrels Special Edition of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels.

On episode fourteen of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels, Dennis and Darth Taxus are in the Halloween spirit. It just happens that Star Wars and Halloween go together. In honor of the upcoming holiday, the guys discuss Joe Schreiber's horror Star Wars novel, Death Troopers. Since it is Halloween, the guys hand out candy to some trick-or-treaters

Before the guys can get to Death Troopers, Dennis and Taxus discuss some of the recent Star Wars news. First, Marvel announced a new ongoing Star Wars title. The guys are thrilled that it features Dr. Aphra. Next, in conjunction with the new Rogue One poster, Lucasfilm released a new poster for the film. Dennis and Taxus offer their take on it. Third, the soundtrack is available for pre-order. Finally, Lucasfilm officially announced who will fill the role of Lando in the upcoming Han Solo film. The guys react.

November is right around the corner. Therefore, it is time for another edition of Skystalking. Darth Taxus fills everyone in on where they can find their favorite Star Wars celebrities next month.

After Skystalking, the guys take on Death Troopers. The guys answer the question whether a horror story in the Star Wars galaxy works. What were the spookiest parts? What is the Blackwing virus? Have you read this novel? What did you think? Email us at SCubedPod@Retrozap.com and let us know your thoughts. Once they have discussed Death Troopers, the guys reminisce about Star Wars experiences from Halloweens past.

As usual, it wouldn't be an episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels, if the guys didn't address some listener feedback. Of course, this means there is another edition of "Silence Fools!"

Welcome to another episode of Scoundrels Special Edition of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels. This week, SCubedPod focuses on episode four of season three of Rebels: "The Holocrons of Fate," Darth Vader #25, and the latest Rogue One trailer. These are somewhat in-depth reviews that contains spoilers.

First, Dennis and Taxus provide their take on "Hera's Heroes." In this Hera-centric episode, Cham Syndulla returns and informs Hera that her family homestead has been lost. In addition, a family heirloom was lost as well. Hera decides to undertake a mission to get it back. Will she be successful? And, how does this episode rate with the guys?

Next, the spectacular Darth Vader series from Marvel reached its conclusion with issue twenty-five. There are many plot lines to resolve in this issue. For example, what becomes of fan favorite Dr. Aphra? Also, what did she tell the Emperor about Darth Vader and his plans. Episode 13.5 is the source for Dennis and Taxus's take on this incredible series.

Finally, Lucasfilm released a new trailer for Rogue One last week. Listeners have likely heard trailer analysis elsewhere, so Dennis and Taxus focus on their favorite parts of the last official trailer for the upcoming film.

On this baker's dozen episode for Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels, Dennis and Darth Taxus are joined by MIke McDonald of the The Sandcrawler Podcast to discuss some of the best Star Wars action figures of all time. What makes the list? Download the show and find out.

Before the action figure discussion, Dennis and Taxus discuss some of the recent Star Wars news. First, a little more information was released for a Rogue One character first revealed in the Sizzle Reel from Star Wars Celebration Europe. Next, another Rogue One trailer should arrive with the release of Doctor Strange. Could audiences see it online sooner? The guys discuss. Third, Dave Filoni is no longer the supervising director on Rebels. However, there is no reason to panic. Dennis and Taxus break down the story and what it means for Star Wars animation.

After the news, Mike joins the guys to talk action figures. Find out if your favorite action figure makes the list. Do you think we got it wrong, or do you have something you want to add or share? Then, email us at SCubedPod@Retrozap.com and let us know. Once we have discussed action figures, Mike sticks around to discuss his new podcast, his Star Wars room, and his action figure photography.

Another episode of Rebels aired this past Saturday. The guys engage in a spoiler-filled conversation concerning "The Antilles Extraction." Who is the new Fulcrum? How does Antilles get sprung from the Imperial Academy? And, finally, is a defection on the horizon?

As usual, it wouldn't be a episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels, if the guys didn't address some listener feedback. Of course, this means there is another edition of "Silence Fools!" However, that might not be all. Darth Taxus has something he needs to rant about.

Thanks for joining us for episode thirteen of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels.

Welcome to this Scoundrels Special Edition of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels. This week, SCubedPod focuses on episode two of season three of Rebels: "The Holocrons of Fate." This is an in depth review that contains spoilers.

First, what is the state of the relationship between Kanan and Ezra? A barrier has been erected between master and apprentice. Therefore, Kanan must reach out to his student to overcome the walls between them. Will his efforts succeed? Will they return to how things used to be?

Next, an old nemesis returns. Darth Maul kidnaps the rest of the crew of the Ghost. What are his intentions? Of course, the heroes aren't helpless. When Hera, Zeb, Sabine, and Chopper decide to fight back, they catch Maul unaware. However, their advantage doesn't last.

Finally, Maul gets what he wants. After receiving Maul's demands, Kanan and Ezra retrieve the bounty. The Bendu warned Ezra and Kanan about what they plan to do. What they plan to do won't be spoiled here, but the results have the potential to shape the story of Rebels forever.

Thanks for listening to this Scoundrels Special Edition. Now, sit back and enjoy this review of "The Holocrons of Fate" on Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels.
