Welcome to episode 31 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels. On this episode, Dennis and Taxus welcome Joey Letson from the Animanicast. This week, the guys are counting down their favorite humorous moments from the Star Wars saga. In addition, Darth Taxus has all the Star Wars celebrity appearances for July in Skystalking. After all the discussion, the guys cover listener feedback in another edition of "Silence Fools!." So, get ready for episode 31: We're All Fine Here.

Recent Star Wars News

As always, the guys discuss recent Star Wars news. Although there was little Star Wars news this week, the guys have a few items to discuss. First, The Clone Wars is still available on Netflix. This news is déjà vu all over again. Then the guys discuss the unfortunate news coming out of Rancho Obi-Wan concerning the theft of items from Steve Sansweet's collection.

Skystalking

After the news, the guys turn to Skytalking. In this segment, Darth Taxus scours the internet to inform everyone where all the Star Wars celebrities are making appearances in July. From Connecticon to the Tampa Bay Comic Con, Taxus researched all the cons and has the current celebrity appearance information.

Top Ten Humorous Moments in Star Wars

Joey Letson joins the show once the news and Skystalking are done. The guys take turns sharing their favorite humorous moments from Star Wars in this round table discussion. From Han's charge on the Death Star to Finn's clumsy lines while thinking on his feet in The Force Awakens, Dennis, Taxus, and Joey go through their favorite funny moments. Silence Fools!

Finally, it wouldn't be an episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels without some listener feedback in "Silence Fools!" The respond to some Twitter feedback to the Darth Bane: Path of Destuction discussion from episode 31.

Welcome to episode 30 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels. On this episode, Dennis and Darth Taxus discuss Darth Bane: Path of Destruction as they kick off their summer book club. However, there are other things to get to first. So, get ready for episode 30: Discussion of Destruction.

Recent Star Wars News

As always, the guys discuss recent Star Wars news. As withe past few weeks, Star Wars had relatively little news. However, Annie Liebovitz's pictures for The Last Jedi debuted in Vanity Fair. Therefore, Dennis and Taxus discuss the details of their favorite pictures. In addition, they analyze some of the plot points and details concerning The Last Jedi and the The Force Awakens revealed in the accompanying article.

Discussion of Destruction

Dennis and Taxus recently announced the formation of a Scoundrels Summer Book Club. Regular listeners know how fond they are of the Darth Bane trilogy. Therefore, Jay Krebs joins the guys as they discuss the first book in the trilogy: Path of Destruction. This discussion includes all the major plot points, so listeners are hereby warned.

The discussion begins with Bane's past on Apatros when he was a man named Dessel. The discussion follows Dessel to Kashyyyk and Trandosha then to Korriban. Once he arrives at Korriban, Dessel sheds his name. He becomes Bane, and the story dives into the Dark Side of the Force.

Silence Fools!

Finally, it wouldn't be an episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels without some listener feedback in "Silence Fools!" There is a twist to Silence Fools! this episode. There is not one, but two Silence Fools! segments. Listener feedback starts with Darth Bane: Path of Destruction emails and tweets. After that, the guys read tweets related to favorite Star Wars video games, and an email about favorite lightsabers.
