On this segment, the Dark Lord of the Shtick tells you where you can find all the Star Wars celebrities appearing at conventions. Next month's conventions include Fan Expo Boston, Fan Expo Canada, Dragon Con, and many more. There are plenty of Star Wars celebrities to be found in August.
The Scoundrels continue to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Clone Wars. This week, they are discussing a four part story arc from season four as Obi-Wan fakes his death and goes undercover to investigate a plot by Count Dooku to abduct Chancellor Palpatine. The Great Escape
There are many hallmarks to a classic Star Wars story. Lightsabers, the Force, starships, scoundrels, blasters, and more all come to mind when one thinks of the galaxy far, far away. There is also the heroes journey. But what about the escape? Every Star Wars movie features some sort of an escape scene. Dan Zehr from Coffee With Kenobi joins the show to count down the top escape scenes in all of Star Wars.

Welcome to episode 58.1 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: The Awakening. On this Scoundrels Special Edition, Dennis and Darth Taxus dive into the recent issues of Poe Dameron and discuss the "The Awakening" story arc. Everyone knows how Rey and Finn esacaped Jakku, but what bout Poe? In the aftermath of the The Last Jedi, the three faces of the First Order sit around the chess table on the Millennium Falcon and Poe passes the transit time in hyperspace with the tale of how he escaped from "nowhere." Also, just who was telling that story of the attack on Starkiller base?
Poe Dameron may be ending soon, but it isn't over yet. "The Awakening" is the first story to put Finn, Rey, and Poe all in the same conversation. Also, where was the rest of Black Squadron during The Last Jedi. Leia had plans for them. In addition, Dennis and Darth Taxus follow up on the "Burning Seas" story arc with a brief discussion of the final issue of the story.
