Welcome to episode 80 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: Vanity Fair on The Rise of Skywalker. On this episode, The Scoundrels are breaking down everything we learned from Lev Grossman's article and Annie Leibovitz's pictures in Vanity Fair about The Rise of Skwyalker. Plus, there is some news about upcoming Star Wars projects as well.
Before the Vanity Fair discussion, the Scoundrels have two primary news stories to cover this week:
Dennis, Jay, and Darth Taxus have several opinions on what Bob Iger's announcements about upcoming movies and live action television shows on Disney+ mean.
The talk of the Star Wars world for the past week has been all about Annie Leibovitz's photographs and Lev Grossman's article about The Rise of Skywalker in Vanity Fair. Now, the Scoundrels dive in and discuss:
All the coverage of Annie Leibovitz's photographs from Vanity Fair, leaves little time at the end of the episode. Normally, and episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels ends with listener feedback. However, Scoundrel Nation was a little quiet in the past week. Therefore, Dennis and Jay ask Taxus about his impressions of The Mandalorian panel from Star Wars Celebration Chicago. Darth Taxus delivers big time.
The Scoundrels hope you enjoy episode 80: "Vanity Fair on The Rise of Skywalker" We hope you will consider subscribing to Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels wherever you get your podcasts.
