As always, the guys discuss recent Star Wars news. Even though the Star Wars news was minimal this past week, a few stories emerged. In fact, the Star Wars news primarily focuses on new comics from Marvel. To begin with, a Jedi Master gets his own miniseries this August. Hint: it's Mace Windu. The new series focuses on a Jedi adventure at the beginning of the Clone Wars. Also, some Rogue One characters receive a one shot that describes how they met. Dennis and Taxus discuss this and a birthday for a major Star Wars personality.
After discussing recent news, Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels dives into a Skystalking segment. June is nearly here. Therefore, it is time to find out where all the Star Wars celebrities are appearing next month. Fortunately, Darth Taxus tells you where to find them.
After relegation to the Legends universe three years ago, Thrawn made his triumphant return to Star Wars in Rebels this past season. Although he challenged Hera and the crew of the Ghost, his backstory was a mystery. Now, the story of his rise to power in the Empire is here. Timothy Zahn's latest novel, Thrawn, tells the tale of the most cunning Grand Admiral in the service of the Empire. Dennis and Taxus discuss Thrawn and his fellow protagonists, Governor Pryce and Eli Vanto, as they review the novel.
Silence Fools!
Finally, it wouldn't be an episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels without some listener feedback in "Silence Fools!"
