Welcome to episode 47 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: The Spark that Lights the Fire. On this episode, Dennis, Jay, and Taxus conclude their discussions of The Last Jedi. On this episode, the conversation looks at the leaders of the Resistance as they discuss General Organa, Commander Dameron, and Vice Admiral Holdo. Lucasfilm finally announced the premier date for the second half of the final season of Rebels, and they released a trailer as well. Jay, Dennis, and Taxus discuss what is in store for Rebels and then move on to their second story concerning the official synopsis of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Finally, Darth Taxus discovered a job posting that might be a clue as to the future of Star Wars on television.
With the final show of the month, it is time for another edition of Skystalking. Darth Taxus combed the internet and discovered the dates and locations for various Star Wars celebrities both big and small. He will share what he found in this edition of Skystalking.
Once the news and Skystalking is done, Dennis, Jay, and Taxus are ready to discuss the role of Leia, Poe, and Holdo in The Last Jedi. The discussion includes the lessons Leia tried to teach Poe, Holdo's relationship with the younger commander, Holdo's sacrifice and more.
Once The Last Jedi discussion is done, the show turns to some listener feedback and community news in "Silence Fools!" In this edition, the Scoundrels react to a Facebook post about a particular segment in episode 46. In addition, they discuss the results of a Twitter poll about potential additions to Battlefront II.
