Star Wars was in the news frequently in the past few weeks. The Scoundrels begin with a discussion of some art from the upcoming Resistance animated television show. Next, Dennis, Jay, and Taxus discuss the success of Star Wars at the Saturn Awards. The news continues with the announcement of the Star Wars Fan Awards. Finally, the news concludes with a discussion of some unconfirmed recent casting news.
The Great Escape
There are many hallmarks to a classic Star Wars story. Lightsabers, the Force, starships, scoundrels, blasters, and more all come to mind when one thinks of the galaxy far, far away. There is also the heroes journey. But what about the escape? Every Star Wars movie features some sort of an escape scene. Dan Zehr from Coffee With Kenobi joins the show to count down the top escape scenes in all of Star Wars.
Silence Fools!
Finally, the show turns to some listener feedback and community news in "Silence Fools!" In this edition, Dennis, Jay, and Taxus read and respond to an iTunes review. Next they discuss the results of last week's poll question. After that, they turn to a new poll inspired by this week's hyperthetical.
