Defying odds more challenging than successfully navigating an asteroid field, Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels is back for episode ten.

First, in a light news segment, Dennis and Taxus discuss recently discovered Rogue One young adult tie-in novels. Next, the guys discuss developments on Episode VIII including whether the movie might be released early.

After the news, a surprise guest drops in. However, this mystic merely has some mediocre predictions to share and astound with.

September is nearly upon us. Therefore, it is time for another edition of Skystalking. Taxus informs you where Star Wars celebrities are appearing during the month of September.

The show continues with our Hyperthetical segment. Thomas Riddle from Star Wars in the Classroom joins us for this week's discussion. First, Dennis, Taxus, and Thomas take on Star Wars alternative history. What would have happened if just a few things changed in The Phantom Menace? Next, Thomas fills in the guys on the mission of Star Wars in the Classroom.

Last, the listener feedback keeps coming in via email, Tweets, and Facebook. As always, Taxus and Dennis respond in "Silence Fools!"

Thanks for joining us for episode ten of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels!

Welcome to episode 9 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels and the State of the Galaxy.

As usual, the show starts with recent Star Wars news. However, Dennis and Taxus have more news than usual. First, Dennis and Taxus discuss Disney's recently announced Rebel adventure at Disney Parks. Next, they cover recent Rebels news including the announcement of the season three debut and the possibility of X-Wings appearing in the animated series. Finally, the news ends with discussions of a potential live action series coming to ABC, J.J. Abrams's interest in a new Star Wars movie, and lots of Rogue One announcements.

After the news, the guys are joined by RetroZap's Dan Lizotte for this week's Hyperthetical segment. First, a large portion of this year's Star Wars content focuses on the era spanning the end of Revenge of the Sith to A New Hope with Rebels and Rogue One. Therefore, the show offers its State of the Galaxy for this time period. Next, Dennis and Taxus discuss Star Wars collecting with Dan. The show focuses on his impressive Funko Pop collection and his quest for a Dengar Funko Pop.

That isn't all. Rogue One has a new trailer. After the Hyperthetical, Dennis and Taxus hit their high points with a brief analysis.

Last, the listener feedback keeps coming in via email, Tweets, and Facebook. As always, Taxus and Dennis respond in "Silence Fools!" One email captures Taxus's attention like no other.
